courses

The Instructional Technology Program is committed to offering a variety of distance-based courses and learning opportunities. In fact, we offer an entirely web-based electronic Master's of Education (eMEd) degree.
Our web-based courses typically feature one or two face-to-face meetings for orientation. Some courses are offered synchronously where all students meet simultaneously with the instructor in a chat room or other computer-mediated communication tool. Other courses feature guided independent asynchronous learning opportunities.
A critical dimension of all of our online programming is the student portfolio. This system provides the technology infrastructure for collecting and displaying student projects and other course assignments.
