Technology Utilization:
There are far more skills and experiences required of us than any course or degree program can offer. Every effort has been made to create representative offerings of essential skills to enhance your professional development. The field of instructional technology is considerably more demanding than many other disciplines in education. Therefore, you will be required to devote considerable outside of class to complete course assignments. Please plan your time accordingly. Please note: The ITEC program and the College of Education have made careful decisions about which products to support in our courses. Our services and facilities are geared to those products. While you may have other options available to you, we will generally not be able to support those alternatives. In some cases, the software and hardware we use represents required experience for graduation and can not be replaced. Many students have access to personal computers, peripherals, and software that are suitable. Most do not, but often try to substitute less suitable alternatives to avoid long time commitments on campus. Please do not assume that you can complete your assignments through any other programs or equipment unless you have the written approval of the instructor. In any event, please be aware that the ITEC program, the IRC, nor Kent State University make no assurances or guarantees that any software or equipment is suitable for any task.

Special Needs:
Any student desiring reasonable accommodations in the procedures used in the conduct of this class for any reason should notify the instructor at the beginning of the semester. Special services are available including assistance with developmental skills, counseling, and many others. Please make arrangements as soon as possible to seek these services.
